The Casal Solleric shows, until 5th January 2014, an exhibition of rather unconventional art from the tweed-suited adopted East Enders Gilbert and George.
Formed by Gilbert Proesch (Italy, 1943) and George Passmore (United Kingdom, 1942), the exhibition compiles newspaper posters, stolen/retrieved, one by one by the artists, sorted and classified by them according to subject. The photos are a visual novel that reveals the ever nonjudgmental urban drama with all its nuances of hope, desires, sorrow and suffering. A visit is worthwhile in any case!
Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 2pm and 3:30pm to 8:30pm and Sundays and holidays from 11am to 2:30pm (Monday closed).
