45 TROFEO S.A.R. PRINCESA SOFÍA – THE SAILORS’ EVENT
Over a thousand sailors from 53 countries come to Mallorca to participate in a unique event. The “Sofía” Trophy, also popularly known as the TROFEO SOFIA – ISAF SWC MALLORCA, has become over the years a tradition that is part of social and sporting calendar of Mallorca. Furthermore, the organisation will promote the Pabisa Beach Club (a leisure complex in Playa de Palma) as the social venue of the event and meeting point for sailors. All social events will be held there and it will be the place for sailing enthusiasts to follow the development of the races.
“Tosca” by Puccini at Palma’s Teatre Principal
Tosca is an opera in three acts, with music by Giacomo Puccini and a libretto in Italian by Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica.

This chamber music concert is held to benefit the Food Bank of Mallorca. As soloist will be performing the young Mallorcan violinist Vicente Bausá.

Marlango is a music band deeply influenced by Tom Waits, an American singer-songwriter and composer. Instead of Tom’s whiskey voice, however, you have Leonor Watling’s milk and honey.

Cuttlefish & Nautical Fair
Starting on Saturday, there will be an exhibition, a craft market, a boat show, children’s parties and a playground, and a food market.

Classical Music: SERENATA BERLIN
A Chamber Music Concert with members and friends of the DSO Berlin (the German Symphony Orchestra of Berlin)

Barón Rojo is considered one of the most important representatives of Spanish hard rock bands. The name of the band (Red Baron) is an homage to Manfred von Richthofen, and the eponymous song “Barón Rojo” is about him.

This is certainly one for the family as you sit back and enjoy the story of Dorothy and her companions seeking the Wizard of Oz in a magical kingdom.
