A great sporting event! The event location, Alcúdia, is one of the most celebrated towns of Mallorca. Swimming is located at the port of Alcúdia. The bike course takes athletes to the wonderful mountains of Mallorca and the half marathon course is flat route in four laps on the beach of Alcúdia.
The Pirates Mutiny Charity Premiere

The Pirates Mutiny Charity Premiere has raised over 700,000 Euros for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital (GOSH is a children’s hospital located in the Bloomsbury area of London) over the last 10 years. The money raised from the event will this year go towards GOSH and 4 local charities in Mallorca. These are the Cancer Support Group Mallorca, Milk on Mondays Appeal with Mediterranea, The Son Espases Children’s Ward and Stop FA. Don’t miss it!
FIRA & FIRÓ – Festa de Nostra Senyora de la Victoria

Second Sunday in May, held in Sóller and Port de Sóller, Mallorca, these mock battles are staged to mark the raid by the Turkish pirates in 1561. If you are around Port de Sóller, be sure to catch the Festa which commemorates the events of May 1561 when a large force of Arab pirates came to a sticky end after sacking Sóller. The event begins with the arrival of the Arabs by boat, and continues with fancy-dresses Christians and pirates battling it out through the streets. Johnny Winter Concert

The American blues guitarist, singer and producer Johnny Winter will be in Palma on 17th May for his concert at the Es Gremi Music Centre. In 2003, he was ranked 63rd in Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time“.
