This year’s Mallorca Rocks season begins on June 3rd and continues until the closing party on September 16th. Top British rock band Kaiser Chiefs has been added to the line-up for this year’s Mallorca Rocks season of live concerts, and will headline on September 2nd.

The event announces its activities programme between June 6th and 9th, that adds to the super selection of yachts, a spectacular fashion show by Rosemarine, Bentley Test & Drive, art exhibition, kids’ activities and various surprise performance shows.
On June 6th there will be a great party for the VIP guests in the new pool deck of the East Coast restaurant – an added design by Philippe Starck.

Along with a colourful parade through the town, two young people dressed in white and with many gold jewels from head to foot, perform the traditional dances of “Les Àguiles” (Eagles) and “Sant Joan Pelós” (Saint John the Hairy). This dance is believed to originate when, on the day of Corpus Christi in 1614, a great eagle flew over the sky of Palma.

Mallorca celebrates the summer solstice with its Nit de Sant Joan celebrations, sometimes referred to as the Nit de Foc (Night of Fire) or the Nit de les Bruixes (Witches Night), on the night of the 23rd of June. Festes de Sant Pere, Port d’Alcúdia

Port d’Alcúdia dresses up to enjoy the week celebrations of the Festes de Sant Pere (the Patron Saint of fishermen). Everyday there are plenty of different activities: a procession both on land and sea, live concerts, contests, games for the kids, sport contests, etc. A great firework puts an end to these marvellous celebrations.
