In May the time had finally come for C and M to get married! The two had thought of a very special wedding motto: Bohemian Chic. C and M got married on Mallorca and photographer, Maria has provided us with these wonderful images of this very intimate wedding of the dream couple from Australia.
The two have been together for a long time and were finally able to say yes and seal their love on their favourite island.
Green is the colour of hope, of new beginnings and of growth. So this colour was very appropriate for this wedding in Mallorca, which was all about a new beginning for two people, in their new life together and the growth of their love for each other.
L&D’s Mallorca wedding was as charming as could be! Their outdoor celebration focused on family, friends, and magical details that added a personal touch and carefree, rustic feel. The sweet simplicity of a ceremony in a garden and a reception filled with field and mountain views, and minimal decor was a breath of fresh air that we simply can’t get over!
We have a beautiful wedding for you today, it’s a modern wedding that combines two cultures together; Chinese and Western. It’s the wedding of S&J who were married on 2nd June. They had around 50 guests, and the wedding took 18 months to plan. To merge the two cultures and satisfy all tastes, we had Beef in black bean sauce with egg noodles and a beef bourguignon with seasonal vegetables, followed by a delicious lemon tarte for dessert.
We had such a wonderful time planning J and A’s exquisite wedding ceremony and reception at this typical Mallorcan finca. All of their guests were surrounded by lush green landscaping and cool summer breezes, red tones with candle light and elegant romantic lighting. This wedding was full of personal touches with a mix of lounge furniture and a variety of delicious foods. The bride and groom surprised their guests with a variety of delicious cocktails as an added late-night treat as guests danced the night away beside the pool. Here are some of the fabulous images from J and A’s wedding extravaganza. Enjoy!
N dreamed of a summer wedding in Mallorca to marry the love of her life D. They chose the stunning wedding reception venue Son Marroig to hold their elaborate wedding reception draped with white flowers, elegant lighting and delicious food for guests to enjoy. N and her bridesmaids all enjoyed a refreshing morning at their hotel in Palma having their hair and make-up done. N was glowing from the very start of the day!
L married A at Sóller church, followed by a reception at a beautiful finca in Port de Sóller. They chose the villa because their wedding was quite small – they had only invited 60 guests and wanted it to feel as private as possible.
A and L picked food that was traditionally Spanish but with a twist. They opted for a two-hour canape reception, and for the main meal they chose a delicious buffet. For a midnight treat they surprised their guests with a paella cooking show.
They didn’t want anything too bold, so for their colour scheme, they chose lots of soft, natural colours to reflect the picturesque surrounding countryside.
C married C at the beautiful Deià church, followed by a reception at a traditional Mallorcan finca, at the end of September 2016. C was baptised in that church, so it meant a lot to them to have their service there.
Celebrating in an old traditional finca felt different and non-traditional for the couple. The fact that it had both indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to mingle was awesome. We arranged seasonal flowers and created bunches for all the tables at the reception. They didn’t need much decoration as the venue itself was so charming.
Inspired by their shared love of Mallorca, M and Ø from Norway planned an intimate al fresco wedding on the island, surrounded by 80 partygoers. It was love at first sight with the venue, because it had everything they wanted, and the style of the space was unique.
N and S from the UK wanted their wedding to be a celebration of their love with friends and family and they wanted it to be an intimate event. As lovers of Mallorca and avid travellers, they knew right away they wanted to have a Mediterranean wedding, and the island was the perfect destination.
Free-spirited couple H & A from the UK but living in Australia, both knew they wanted a wedding abroad, and Mallorca’s romantic landscape fulfilled all their destination dreams. They celebrated their big day with romantic and nature inspired touches. From a Spanish guitarist to wild flowers – the style of the wedding effortlessly blended the couple’s personal experiences and tastes. Fairy lights strung around the finca’s garden created a beautiful, intimate, and relaxing atmosphere for the couple’s celebration. We loved organizing this beautiful wedding!
Grab your bags, because this romantic destination will have you wanting to board the next flight to Spain! A & A from Germany hosted their Mallorca dream wedding in a small restaurant by the sea. With a super-select group of 50 guests, it was the ideal location for their celebration.
With a romantic and nautical theme, A and A’s wedding perfectly represented their laid-back approach and everything about the day, from the colour scheme to the wedding favours, was beautifully thought out and reflective of the couple themselves.
Finding the perfect wedding venue is a lot like falling in love: For some, it’s a long, careful process, others know instantly. When M&G arrived at this seaside location in Mallorca, it was love at first sight.
When planning a wedding every detail can be worked out and executed perfectly, but unfortunately, one thing you cannot control is the weather.
We think this particular wedding is a perfect example of how rain need not ruin your wedding day – it can make it that much more memorable and beautiful! M&T chose this historic, romantic finca in Mallorca for their wedding. They tried to keep it simple and more like a relaxed party with family and friends from Germany. The couple chose this venue because not only was it big enough to accommodate all of their family and friends, but M has been coming on holiday to Mallorca since she was a child and the island is a very special place for her.
What do you get when you mix a very happy couple, a gorgeous Mallorcan country house in Spain and talented wedding planners? L and F´s magical wedding day! The Swedish couple is from Stockholm, but they planned a relaxed and rustic wedding in Mallorca, one of their favourite destinations, for their nearest and dearest, so they could treat their guests to a wonderful weekend of Mallorcan culture.
Beyond the usual wedding festivities with Swedish traditions, they also planned a beautiful trumpet accompaniment during the ceremony, a Spanish guitarist during the cocktail reception, and a get-together party in a typical Spanish tapas bar in Palma. The gorgeous images below tell the whole story!
When M and S, from Ireland, decided to get married in Mallorca, they asked us to create an intimate destination wedding for them and their 40 guests.
They were married on our beautiful island on 16th April 2016, in one of the most romantic locations in Mallorca – a magnificent church by the sea, followed by an outdoor cocktail reception overlooking the Mediterranean.
One of the main reasons M & S chose to be married in Mallorca was because of the beauty of the island and its unique locations. The church was spectacular, it had a really romantic and cosy feel, and the setting on the cliffs above the sea was amazing. The couple had beautiful weather and the reception was held indoors and out. All of this, coupled with the fact that Mallorca has some of the best beaches in Spain, made it an ideal place for their destination wedding. “It was so beautiful and romantic,” says M, who has some advice to share with brides-to-be. “Just try to enjoy every moment of the day because it flies by so quickly.”
Our Latvian couple D & K wanted their wedding to be minimalist and set in a natural and beautiful place, so they decided to look for unique destinations. They came upon the idea of a destination wedding in Mallorca and their symbolic ceremony was performed on Saturday the 2nd of April, in a sunny, beautiful historic finca in front of the Mediterranean Sea. It was filled with laughter, tears, and joy and the acoustics from the guitar were truly romantic. It was a magical place in which to have their wedding.
